Our story
This story, like most good stories, is an adventure.
It all started with a late lunch on New Year’s Eve of 2017, in Sydney, a stop in our one-year family world tour.
That day, we discovered – and immediately fell in love with – the poke bowls and instantly believed in the concept. After tasting this fresh, delicate, and delicious ensemble of flavours for the first time, we soon became determined to bring this soul-nourishing dish back to Belgium.
During the rest of our trip around the world, we visited many different poke bars and each of these wonderful meals fuelled passionate discussions within our family (2 adults and 3 teenagers).
After enjoying, studying and experimenting with variations from all over the world, we are excited to bring our vision of poke bowls to Brussels. We try to include all these inspirations in the bowls that we prepare with love for you every day at Tadao.
Leadership team
Our founder, Cédric, wanted to establish a place where people could come and enjoy beautiful food with a good vibe. Our Tadao restaurant reflects his values and personality, combining his love of healthy food with his desire to deliver it in a casual, quick and accessible manner.
Working tirelessly together, Cédric and the Tadao team are constantly learning, innovating, and finding new ways to improve the whole “poke” experience.
